Comfort Foods Dinner Tour
This is a 5-course celebration of New York City's best comfort foods, in the East Village. Our first stop is Bob White, named one of the 10 best places for fried chicken in the city, followed up with the always popular SMAC, for creamy macaroni and cheese.
Next we'll go to Veniero's, a real New York legend for cheesecake that melts in your mouth, and then go to Forcella's, for a wildly new taste sensation, thin-crust fried pizza. And our last course are the heavenly thick-cut, twice-cooked Belgium french fries, golden and crunchy and always freshly-made at Pomme Frites.
You'll learn the backgound of each restaurant, plus sightseeing famous local sights; Merchants House Museum, and Cooper Union College. Tour takes 2 hours. Distance is a little over 1 mile. Beverages are additional. $38.00 per person.
